somewhere in you is a little girl with paint on her hands.

she grew up and took on every role life asked of her.

a daughter who held the family together long before anyone asked her to. a student who stayed up until the city went quiet. a teacher who made thirty children believe they were capable of something.

she used to express her creativity through acrylics and color pencils.

now, she does it through her hijab.

because she never let the artist in her go. she just changed the canvas.

the gallery is a tribute to her. each piece painted, inspired by monet’s gardens at giverny, made to be collected.
